This is my story. By emphasizing my pros, I was able to hide my cons. I was the weird chubby kid who became known for handing in massive book length reports. By weight alone, these efforts guaranteed my honor role status.

By high school, and despite my best efforts, I was failing math. One or two teachers may have suspected a problem, but large class sizes prevented any intervention.

Though I still cannot do calculus, I've always been good with money and budgets. As far as my reading problems, my desire to become a writer forced me to overcome them."
