Allex Michael Facts: Allex's favorite tv shows...

2009 to 2010: Defying Gravity is compelling, the finale made me cry. I still watch Fringe, but the story lines are way out there. Supernatural has been enhanced by introducing the angels storyline, but concerned the brothers all important connection to the devil and God will go over the top. Really like Lie to Me, True Blood, Dexter, PBS Mystery and Masterpiece Theater. Nova, Nature and Charlie Rose often have episodes of interest. Ultimate Cakes and Ace of Cakes are always good, plus will watch higher end decorating and renovating shows though increasingly rare. I watch Lost only because I have watched it this long, and like the characters, but am annoyed by the often outrageous story lines. The Vampire Diaries, The Good Wife, White Collar, Damages, Crash n Burn, Medium, John Stewart, Steven Colbert, and The Mentalist are all very watchable.

With the thousands of films made over the last decade, you would think the regular channels would broadcast more than one or two new movies per month. It is no wonder viewership continues to drop with the increasing amount of repeated programming.

Still watch the previews of most entertainment shows, but gossip and sleeze are now more popular than information. How many hours in 2009 and 2010 have been devoted to Paris Hilton, John and Kate and the Tiger Woods sex scandals. At least TMZ doesn't make itself out to be something it is not.

Summer of 2006: Nothing much to watch except the odd movie. Blade the Series is quite entertaining.

Allex Michael: "We didn't have cable when I grew up, so I'm a bit of a television junky when my schedule allows. I really like CSI Vegas, Supernatural, The 4400, Bones, PBS's Mystery, Smallville Nip Tuck, The O.C. (first two seasons) and Lost. Law and Order, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, South Park and The Simpsons are also very watchable. Favorite shows of the past include Stargate and Farscape." Gold arrow links to the next fact

I could never stomach OZ, but have forced myself to watch Prison Break (first two seasons) which was initially very compelling. I have difficulty watching these kinds of shows because being incarcerated should not also mean being raped, beaten and tortured. As a prisoner, I would prefer to be permanently locked up alone in a small cell with a window versus current prison conditions portrayed in these shows.

I watch entertainment shows like ET, Access Hollywood, Sunday Morning Shootout and Showbiz Tonight just to keep up. I also try to watch news on PBS once or twice a week and occasionally a show like Lou Dobbs on CNN" Gold text reads Alle

Shows that are so good I wish I had thought of them include Six Feet Under and Dead Like Me.
